This is one of the most feared tech analysts in the industry as he usually has the final world. He did however give recently fantastic reviews for Apple's harware and software.
Read what he has to say on Microsoft's Vista: basically, nothing new, requires a lot NEW harware, and copies many features from Mac OSX.
The question he does not ask however is why are there SOOOOO many versions of Windows Vista ? It's already complicated to run a computer, why segment the market even more ?
I've been toying with Vista installed on Parallels on my Mac for a few days. I really do get the same impression as Walt: yawn... Now if you're only on XP, this might be an epiphany for you. My only advice: try OSX first...
