I’ll be attending “the next web” conference to be held next friday (July 7th, 2006) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The venue is great as it’s exactly 1 min from the main Amsterdam Train station (15 min from Schiphol airport by train, 4 hours11 min from Paris by train ).
Great speakers such as Kevin Kelly (cofounder of wired magazine), Mike Arrington (founder, TechCrunch), Mark Tluszcz (Mangrove VC, backers of Skype, or Kevin Rose (founder of digg.com) are lining up for keynotes.
Great companies such as AllPeers, Netvibes, eSnips, Plazes, etc. are also going to be on stage for a 10 minute showcase of their services.
A company I know shall be providing video coverage of the event as recorded sessions after the event, shall be doing background interviews with attendees, and will host the now web-famous Atlas Venture REAL elevator pitch sessions.
It should be a great conference , and I hear that the team putting together this great event (well done Pat!) expects to be sold out by Tuesday. And if you go here, you get a 20% discount on the price !
