You've probably already seen this badges on French blogs. The influencers is an experiment by a bunch of folks, who are launching a series of online experiments here in France. The funny thing is that all blogger events are now announced with these grassroots banners created by the organisers of the events; even corporations such as vodeo.tv, causes such as AIDS protection or magazine launches are now advertised using the influencers.
Part of the blog culture I suppose. So what are you announcing these days
