The guy's been in office less than a week, and he is already showing the teeth and his negative vision of society: his first big policy announced here is to increase expulsions by 50%. While the prime minister is focusing on employment (although governing by ordonnances - ie by decree - is not exactly a democratic process, although legal), the n°2 guy in government (Interior Minister), Nicolas Sarkozy, is again focusing on populist issues and on working on the right-wing program. Anyone focusing on education as well and on balancing the budget ? And on closer integration with all our European neighbours ? Pffff...
Do we really want his guy as a presidential candidate in 2 years?
