Michel Barnier's think tank, Nouvelle République, is organising a forum tomorrow near the Madeleine in Paris, on European culture. Michel is the current French foreign minister, and a former comissionner at the European Commission. His interest for Europe is genuine, and his guests at all these talks are usually very high level and very interesting. I usually go to these events, although I do not sit on the same side of the political spectrum, but definitively on the same side of the European agenda.
Coming tomorrow is José Manuel Barroso, the new appointed President of the European Commission (he's starting his job on Monday).
