Last week, I had the pleasure of listening to Edme Vos, the founder of muniwireless.com, a site dedicated to all wireless initiatives of municipalities around the world, including large scale Wi-Fi deployments, mesh networks, WiMAX, etc.
Edme is a former intellectual property lawyer (Harvard Law grad) turned technology consultant + journalist + blogger (her site runs on MovableType!).
She even publishes every now and then, a couple of white papers - for free - to capture her knowledge, including most recently a cookbook for municipalities wanting to launch a wireless venture.
Her current business model is advertising (both sponsorship, and ads in her email listings), so give her some traction (although this reminds me so much of the 1998-1999...)
