Just to let you know I am a happy man today: I am going to attend the Athens 2004 Olympic Games this weekend!
Oh, just a quick flight in on friday evening from Paris, back on monday morning early. I got a cheap c. 300€ return ticket on online travel agency anyway.com, am staying with a friend over there, and will get my tickets from the online ticketing facility at the Games.
I am planning the following events: my always favourite on TV (but they really show little of it) = fencing (hopefully all foil, sabre and epée), artistic Gym for Men and Women + volleyball (FRA vs. ARG, and BRA vs AUS), some beach volleyball, swimming heats and Archery.
A packed week-end. I'll post some pix when I get back. If anyone is planning on going as well, drop me a line real quick, we can meet for late dinners as well!
