Are you tired of turning on/off the predictive texting on your mobile
phone when you are trying to enter a very long URL?
Why don't you try to turn the URL into a 2D-barcode, and read with your camera on your phone ? A number of companies are offering this technology including Scanbuy (it is also offering a number of other applications), and Semacode (an easy step by step is here).
Then, just point and click your phone to the barcode. I found it difficult to get it right on my laptop's screen, but it worked immediately after printing the code. And there it was, the whole super long URL entered in a click on my phone. I believe the number of applications for this point-n-click-barcode technologies are enormous. Check the guys' above web sites for ideas.
By the way, after you scan my URL to the left, don't forget to make it a bookmark on your phone ! ;)
