A quick note to share with you my current playlist on iTunes (ie the stuff I encoded onto my laptop from my private collection. Of course, a number of divas: Cecilia Bartoli (my very favourite, I have seen her on stage 9 times; I even have a picture of her with me in Philadelphia ), Natalie Dessay, Renée Fleming, etc., and saxophone players: John Coltrane of course, but also the great Joshua Redman. He only plays his own compositions: check Hide and Seek, and Jig-a-Jug. Brilliant, I've seen him on stage twice in Paris and once in London.
And if you're looking for a great unknown opera, check Mozart's Mitridate.
