in the everlasting contest of who has the largest ________ (fill in the space), Criteo has just published a list of bloggers. Ha! 1 place to make it in the top 10. Not that it matters much though, I only know Don's blog in the top 10.
Great to see so many of you, and I was surprised to hear that actually a few read this blog. Fantastic career moves for many of them, balding heads sometimes, grayer for sure, and even bigger figures :)
Looking forward to the next encounters. A few pictures here.
Cédric Ingrand invited vpod.tv back, one year after the initial appearance to discuss our progression, new features, business model, customers.
Thanks for the invite.
Video edited from the 2 official podcasts to include only the parts relevant to vpod.tv.
Most certainly a marketing strategy for a startup ? :) I'd make sure not to reveal too much. Although I agree with the fact that ideas have no value, execution matters, and you might not want to disclose too much of it ?
Martin V. has a good post about the internet video sector, and his investments in it, including vpod.tv, sevenload.de, Joost, Azureus.
Update : my selection of excerpts:
"I was looking at the TV Channels that Loic Le Meur built using the infrastructure of Vpod.tv and I was super impressed at how studio like quality, a one person effort can be."
"Currently if you produce video content of any kind and are purely
looking for audiences Youtube is the place to be. But if you are like
my friend Loic Le Meur, France´s top blogger, or myself with a personal blog with over 200K viewers platforms such as Vpod
are better because you can control them more. And in any case, in a
world of free video posting you are not forced to choose. In my case I
post videos in Sevenload, Youtube and Vpod (I am an investor in Sevenload and Vpod). I choose Youtube for the audiences. Vpod for the superb quality of the platform... "
